BACK IN OHIO AND HAPPY!

Moving to Charlotte from Kent, Ohio nine years ago was a big decision, but my husband and I made the move quickly. With our children grown, it seemed like the timing was right for moving to better weather and to spend time with my sisters and other family members south of the border.  But, time passed and our baby started having babies! Suddenly, the great weather didn't seem so important anymore!

So we moved back last year as quickly as we left.  After living in Kent and Brimfield for so many years prior to our move, we still had family and friends in place, but when it came to the business community, I didn't really know anyone!  This was a complete 'culture shock' coming from  Charlotte where I knew  virtually everyone in the business community!  As President of the Health and Business Professionals of Charlotte and Founder of the Total Wellness Business Alliance in Charlotte, as well as providing my own services and being an active member of other business organizations, I was in a position to enjoy many great relationships and contacts there.

Coming back to Ohio without knowing anyone in the the local business communities, I knew getting to know people and beginning to develop relationships would take some time.  Now that I've had a chance to meet some Chamber Members in Kent, Brimfield and Streetsboro, I'm ready to begin developing meaningful relationships by meeting one-on-one with business owners and entrepreneurs to find out what everyone is about and to see how I may potentially be able to help.  I'm also looking forward to delivering real value in the marketplace here, starting with my upcoming Social Media Marketing Seminar on Tuesday, July 29th.
